A little bit of magic.

25 Jan

Snow is very special for me it reminds of my dad and his stories, the times I have been away to the Alps and the day I got married. I love the way it glistens and the silence of it falling,  I took these in the garden and put them to black and white so you can see the magic!

Not a breath of air in this photo, just the slow steady falling of snow flakes.

The glistening sparkle that adds the magic.

The only thing I can’t bring to you in these photos is the smell of my neighbour’s wood burning stove, I love that smell on the winter air.  I live down a Victorian terraced street and I love walking home from work and smelling  the stoves on a snowy day, I always think that if there were no cars parked on the street this is probably what it looked like back then.
